New Year...New Blog

New Year…New Blog…Happy 2014!!

There’s not a better time to start a new blog than the New Year…don’t ya think? Works for me! I have always admired those that can write a good blog. You know the ones…engaging, captivating, the one that you watch for to post a new entry. I never thought I would even attempt writing a blog. But, then again, every time I have said “no” or “never”, I have ended up doing that exact thing! Ever happen to anyone else?

So, what will this blog be about? Well, that’s easy. TRAVEL!!!! Aaaand...everything that goes along with travel. Aaaaand...maybe some little quips about life from my shoes, just thrown in there for the fun of it. Speaking of shoes, I have the best pair of shoes for work (I’m also a nurse) that just SCREAM travel!

                                              

On those long, hard work days, I just imagine myself sitting right there on that beach with an unbelievably good umbrella drink in my hand. It’s my happy place….aaahhh…can’t you just feel that warm, salt water breeze blowing gently through your hair??? Ok, ok…back to this cold day in January where my fingers are hurting as I type because they are so cold!

Where is your happy place? Where would you like to be today? I will be researching different, wonderful destinations and writing all about them.  My hope is that you all will give me input on where you would like me to research. So, which destination should be first? Maybe it’ll be a surprise. Hhhmmmm…. I will have to narrow it down. There are so many good choices!
